The Remembrance Portrait

Hand-Painted Portraits – Timeless – An heirloom to be treasured for years to come. 

To those of you who have lost a baby, either in the womb or outside of the womb, we send our love to you.  As someone who has experienced multiple miscarriages, I thought it would be a special way to remember those lost little ones.  Using your photo as our guide, we create these mixed media portraits using chalk, gouache, watercolor and graphite. 

These paintings are digitally painted.  Each drawing will be similar to the designs shown in the sample photo.  Made by a professional fine artist (www.laurentilden.com) you are receiving an heirloom portrait at a more affordable price due to the medium used.

All custom portraits will come with one proof and round of simple revisions prior to printing. Should you request changes that go above this there may be a revision fee at the artist's discretion.

In the Notes section, let us know if you would like any text included on the print or you can include that info when sending your photo(s).  Photos for your portrait can be sent to AFPSproofs@gmail.com.  If you are choosing to send us a photograph of your baby who passed after birth, there are two ways we can draw the portrait. True to the photo or we can bring life back into their sweet face. Please let us know which you would prefer and any other questions or concerns. 

The Details

Your print will be carefully made using archival inks and 100% cotton rag fine art paper.  The print has a lightly textured matte surface that makes our drawings look amazing.

Prints do not come with frames. You can add a frame to your order by adding this listing to your cart.
