Each Silhouette comes with a proof and any simple revisions needed prior to printing and shipping your portrait. Please understand that this item is handmade and while we are known for drawing portraits accurately, there should be consideration for artistic interpretation.
Please make a note at checkout if you would like ONLY the white hair detail or ONLY the custom neckline. Otherwise we will illustrate it to include both goink off the photo you send in. We can do just our regular black neckline if requested at checkout.
Tips for a great profile photo:
• Resting (more serious face) tends to look best in this type of art.
• Is the photo showing the ENTIRE face, head/hair, neck area?
• Are you happy with how the hair looks?
• Is the photo taken during the day with good lighting?
Portrait Specifications
Your portrait print will be carefully created using archival inks and 100% cotton rag fine art paper. The print has a lightly textured soft gloss surface that makes our drawings look amazing.
- We print our portraits in house using professional fine art paper and archival inks.
- Prints do NOT come with frames.
- You can add a frame to your order by adding this listing to your cart.
- If you would like more copies of your drawing, you can purchase duplicate prints
Please note: As of February 2021
we now print our portraits in house using professional fine art paper and archival inks. If hanging next to a previously printed silhouette you may notice a difference in the whiteness of the paper (the new is a warmer white and the old is a cooler white). If you would like to purchase re-prints of previously made silhouettes on this new paper please let us know and we would be happy to give you a substantial discount.
